Performance Shots in the Music Video

For our performance scenes we haven’t fully planned the shots, and have only planned the final performance shot where the band finish performing and there is card shower. However in our structure we have planned where performance shots well be in the video. As a group we felt it would be easiler not the plan which shot would be used at each part, and instead film the performance as a whole band, then film it from different shots such as close-ups of the vocalist, guitarist or drummer and film the whole song in these shots, and then when we upload the footage onto the Mac use the shots we film look better in that part of the song, and as we would have the whole song filmed as a performance we would be able to put in any of the shots in where we have given space for performance.
